Arvest Bank Promotes Smith in Russellville

Arvest Bank is pleased to announce it has promoted Ashley Smith to the position of assistant branch manager for its location at 209 W. Main St.

Smith has two years of banking experience, most recently serving as senior teller. In her new role at Arvest, Smith’s responsibilities include sales efforts, customer service, branch operations and security, among other duties.

“Ashley’s enthusiasm, initiative and drive to succeed make her a great fit for this position,” Arvest branch sales manager Vanessa Zavala said. “She will be an asset for both the bank and, more importantly, our customers.”

Arvest Bank Announces Gordon Hiring

Arvest Bank is pleased to announce it has hired Nate Gordon as assistant branch manager for its location at 1701 South Zero St.

Gordon comes to Arvest with eight years of retail management experience. In his role at Arvest, Gordon’s responsibilities include sales efforts, customer service, branch operations and security, among other duties.

“We believe Nate is a perfect fit for this position,” Arvest branch sales manager Sandy Moore said. “We’re confident he will be an asset for both the bank and, more importantly, our customers.”

Gordon lives in Hackett with his wife and three children.

Arvest Bank Announces Sublett Hiring

Arvest Bank is pleased to announce the hiring of Clay Sublett as a senior vice president and commercial lender.

Sublett has worked in the financial services industry since 1979 and has extensive experience and knowledge in all aspects of commercial real estate, with an emphasis in finance. In his new role at Arvest, Sublett will generate, evaluate and approve commercial loans, among other duties. Sublett will serve the Greater Kansas City metro area and will office at Arvest’s branch located at 6300 Nall Ave.

“I have long regarded Clay Sublett as one of the best commercial real estate bankers in our region,” Arvest executive vice president and commercial loan manager Brian Lee said. “Clay’s addition to our team will help Arvest Bank continue to serve as a leading provider of commercial real estate financing throughout our footprint.”

A member of the Board of Governors for the Commercial Real Estate Finance Council, Sublett earned a bachelor’s degree in economics at Vanderbilt University.

Cross Named Senior Vice President by Arvest Bank

Arvest Bank is pleased to announce Ryan Cross has been promoted to senior vice president.

Cross has more than 17 years of experience in the banking industry and currently serves as a commercial banker. He specializes in the commercial and industrial segments and real estate lending, while also helping businesses with their treasury management, purchasing card and international service needs.

Cross earned a degree in finance and international business at the University of Oklahoma and is a current enrollee at the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado. He is a member of the Bond Advisory Committee for the City of Oklahoma City, treasurer and board member for the South Oklahoma City Chamber of Commerce, board member for March of Dimes, and a past president of the West Oklahoma City Rotary Club, among other civic endeavors.

Cross and his wife, Shannon, have four children and live in Oklahoma City.

Arvest Bank Promotes Nave to Senior Vice President

Arvest Bank is pleased to announce Brian Nave has been promoted to senior vice president.

Nave has worked in the financial services industry since 2004 and currently serves as a commercial banker. In that role, he is responsible for the effective promotion and generation of commercial loans for the Oklahoma City metro area, among other duties. Nave also holds the designation of Certified Leasing and Finance Professional (CLFP).

Nave earned a bachelor’s degree and a master’s in business administration at Northeastern State University. He is an active member of the Norman Chamber of Commerce and a board member for both Community Services Building, Inc. and the Cleveland County Family YMCA, among other civic endeavors.

Nave and his wife, Sarah, have two sons.
