Carolyn Rouchka, Arvest Bank Business Development Representative in Kansas City, was awarded the Central Exchange Marjorie Powell Allen Award at the recent Founder’s Day celebration at Central Exchange Downtown. Carolyn was selected for representing all that Central Exchange embodies – leadership, women empowerment/support and community engagement.

In 1980, Marjorie Powell Allen co-founded the organization Central Exchange to make a difference for women in Kansas City. Their goal was to become a respected voice in the community. The Marjorie Powell Allen award was designed to recognize the individual who is dedicated to Central Exchange and all it stands for.

“On behalf of Cici and the entire CX staff, we selected Carolyn to receive this award to recognize her outstanding and committed service to Central Exchange,” said Rebecca Johnson, chief membership officer at Central Exchange.
Carolyn joined the Lyceum Committee in 2012 and was chairwoman for Advocating for Women 2013-2015. She was a motivating factor behind the Women’s Certification 101 Workshop and paramount in Arvest’s ongoing quarterly education series for small business. She is currently on the Martini Women and Shoes committee.

Congratulations, Carolyn!
