On Nov. 21 we invite you to drop off personal hygiene items for The CALL,* a nonprofit organization empowering Arkansas families to prepare to take in foster children. Some children enter the foster system with only the clothes on their back. We’re looking for your help to provide some basic personal care necessities.

The following Arvest branches are accepting donations on Nov. 21, and 90.9 KLRC* will be doing live radio remotes at the times indicated.

  • 405 S. Walton Blvd. in Bentonville, Ark.             (7 - 9 a.m.)
  • 2389 N. College Ave. in Fayetteville, Ark.            (11 a.m. – 1 p.m.)
  • 2012 S. Pleasant Ave. in Springdale, Ark.             (4 – 6 p.m.)

Items can also be dropped off at the KLRC studio at 100 N. Broadway in Siloam Springs, Ark., during normal business hours (Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.).

Examples of personal hygiene items in need include:

  • Toothbrushes
  • Toothpaste
  • Soap
  • Shampoo
  • Deodorant

Cash and gift cards are also welcome.

Links marked with * go to a third-party site not operated or endorsed by Arvest Bank, an FDIC-insured institution.
